Wernersholm

The project consists of a 15 unit housing development on private property in the suburban area Hop, in Bergen.

The building scheme enables both high utilization of the site, and a small scale appearance. The concept is based on the idea to obtain a maximum amount of high quality outdoor areas, and at the same time organize the buildings so that they protect these areas from the present traffic noise and the wind and the rain.

Where the main challenges of the plot were topography and traffic noise, the building enables both high utilization of the site and an appearance of small scale neighborhood
