How can good architecture help achieve the goal of an inclusive urban community?
Bergen inkluderingssenter is a pilot project for Building Dignity in collaboration with Bergen Municipality and the Rafto Foundation. We have been working on this project since 2016. The goal for the center is to emerge as an international role model when it comes to actively using architecture as a tool for an inclusive society.
Bergen is the first Norwegian city to be granted the status of “human rights city”. The old teacher school at Landås will become a center for the whole of Bergen oriented towards the local community, with infrastructure for sports and culture.
Our architects and interior architects at 3RW are developing the project in collaboration with Smedsvig Landskapsarkitekter, HLM, and Multiconsult for Bergen municipality. Read more about the project on the municipality’s site.
