Yesterday’s article in Bergens Tidende, the city’s main newspaper, reports on different features of our Skjoldnes housing project. All apartments, which range from small studio to large family-sized dwellings, will soon be fully inhabited, supporting the community life and neighbourhood feelings that have developed on site. Residents speak of common activities, such as the new Skjoldes choir and “dugnad”, and generous meeting places – the completed parc which spans over the highway, the public café at Villa Konow, or the nearby piers at Nordåsvatnet. The article also talks about demographics across buyers, highlighting their cross-generational profile. 3RW has been working on this large housing complex for over a decade now, coordinating its design and completion with energy and patience. We are pleased to hear of such positive user feedback, and we trust that these community events and space will grow stronger with time.

The site’s drone photo shows the different outdoors spaces around which built volumes are placed, with the “parc deck” partly visible at the back.
