The Health Care Center “Randaberg Helsesenter” opened a few days ago and can now welcome all new residents, workers and visitors. Based on a village concept – an interpretation of the classical Norwegian village settlement “grenden” – the centre focuses on modern health care facilities and environments.

The Norwegian health care minister Bent Høie, who comes from Randaberg, held a speech where he highlighted this center as the future model of elderly care – emphasizing the importance of placing health care centres and care homes directly in contact with the city and its citizens.

3RW arkitekter and NORD Architects won the competition some years ago and we are excited to see the health care team and residents move in and join this new local community. #healthcare #sustainability #architecture
