Establishing Bergen’s first underground station at Haukeland hospital, for the light rail Bybanen. The stop will be the largest communication hub for the Bergen light rail, with nearly 12,000 passengers daily.
The design development is about bringing together urban ambitions, complex technical solutions with a focus on security and user experience. The project will be produced on site according to BIM model.
To develop a clear strategy that brings together the technical requirements, urban ambitions and good design and detail, an architectural language is developed that establishes a clear set of elements and relationships that together will provide a robust level of ambition for further development.
