Lokketona – houses with a view

Four single family homes in the steap western norwegian landscape.

The property consists of one original family home and has three new single-family homes designed in a neighborhood cluster. The homes offer a phenomenal view of the fjord approach to Bergen. The homes are designed for families with children and are also adapted for universal design.

The plot is challenging due to the steep terrain. Minimal terrain intervention during the construction of the new units has been a goal for the design.

Materials follow the slope and shape of the landscape, with stone at the bottom and wood at the top.
The buildings are designed to respond to the steep topography and be considerate of neighboring properties regarding sunlight and views.
