Methodology For Project Development Tverga

Throughout the spring of 2022, 3RW has been involved in process management activities for Tverga, a resource centre for self-organized sporting initiatives and physical activity in Norway. Tverga’s mission consists in guiding municipalities and local volunteers in the development of arenas for sports and other athletic activities. We took a key leadership role in the creation of a workshop program for municipalities interested in developing such arenas. Based on design-thinking methodology, 3RW’s approach ensures that user understanding and user knowledge are at the centre of the program. It does so by providing an array of comprehensible tools, which allow participants to develop their respective projects purposefully and accurately. The scheme was tested and carried out during workshops held in the city of Bergen, and in the towns of Førde and Stord. It was also streamed digitally between the various locations. Other partners include the Danish Lokale and Anlægsfonden, which shared valuable professional input throughout the workshops’ management

In addition to Tverga and Lokale og Anlægsfonden, the participative sessions were carried out in collaboration with Bergen municipality, Norwegian Sports Association and Vestland County Municipality. This represents 3RW’s third-time engagement with such a project: the other two include the workshop series at a high school in Fusa, as well as the current workshop series for Hyllestad Skole.
