Espen Rahlff, architect and one of the founders of our office, will introduce a selection of projects as part of the “Reflections on Architecture” lecture series at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. This year, the series examines Norwegian architecture; its diversity and trends, with the intention of “developing the local architectural discourse” in Slovenia, as well as broadening international debate on what constitutes good built design. Tonight’s public presentation and debate will focus on architectural exercises and realizations which represent 3RW’s larger body of work and general theoretical reflection. The selected projects include: first-year teaching program at BAS, the office various infrastructure works for Norwegian Scenic Routes (for example, Hereiane, Askevågen or Flydalsjuvet), the Utøya memorial, and “Landscape Healing”.
