Bergen City Pavilion
The City Pavilion is specially designed to fill the need for a large, flexible and mobile volume intended for cultural and festival purposes. The pavilion comprises of four volumes that are interconnected in various ways. This gives flexibility in size from a volume of 135 m2 to four volumes which together provide an area of 624 m2.

Parts of the walls are made of light translucent sandwich panels that allow light into the pavilion. Inside the panels there are LED lights that can change colour and brightness so that the colour and mood can be adjusted. This gives a special atmosphere to the different seasons and the dark Nordic winter nights.
The City Pavilion is used in connection with major festivals like the Bergen International Festival, Nattjazzen and the Øya Festival in Oslo. For several years, it gave the base to the world’s largest gingerbread exhibition on Torgalmenningen in Bergen.
